Malta-based online gaming firm Pragmatic Play has been granted a license to operate its new Bucharest-based live casino studio after receiving a Class II license from the Romanian gambling regulator.

The newly-built studio will be fully licensed to offer both online and land-based operators a number of fully compliant products from Pragmatic Play, the company said in a press release.

“We are pleased to have been granted this license to operate our cutting-edge studio, an important step as we build the industry’s first-choice live casino solution,” said Yossi Barzely, chief business development officer at Pragmatic Play. “It features a solid and reliable platform, the most advanced technology and an artistic, cinematic approach, all managed by a team of professionals with extensive experience in the field.”

The new casino studio will offer players a wide array of Pragmatic Play’s games such as Live Roulette, Live Blackjack and Live Baccarat, with the popular Live Speed Roulette, Live Auto Roulette and Live Baccarat Super Six already on the roadmap, the release said.
