Price Hike at Caesars Resorts

It just got a little more expensive to stay at six Caesars Entertainment properties in Las Vegas. Everyone who checks in must pay a $25 fee that covers internet, local phone calls, gym and pool access and other incidentals. The fee applies even to guests who don’t use the amenities.

Caesars Entertainment is raising resort fees at six of its Vegas properties. A flat fee will apply to customers at Bally’s, the Flamingo, Harrah’s, the Linq, Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood; the increase will bring the fees at those resorts in line with charges already in place at the new Cromwell and Caesars Palace.

The increase amounts to a couple of bucks extra to stay at the properties. It covers wifi access for two devices, local telephone calls and use of the hotels’ pools and fitness centers, according to Vegaschatter.com. The fee is nonnegotiable, and is added on to the bill for all guests, even those who don’t use any of the services.

The increase comes a year after Caesars cancelled an ad campaign that bragged about charging no resort fees, and implementing the fees that are charged at almost every resort in Las Vegas.
