Gaming industry veteran Stuart Richey, who started at Primm Valley Casino Resorts in 2009 as vice president of marketing and was promoted to assistant general manager in 2011, has been promoted to vice president and general manager.
“Stuart’s background and growth with the company, knowledge and experience in the industry will further the growth of Primm Valley in his new role,” said Loren Gill, senior vice president for Affinity Gaming. “His leadership, dedication and innovative ideas make for an exciting future for the resorts.”
Over 20 years, Richey has held roles such as director of marketing at President Casino in St. Louis and assistant vice president of slot marketing at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. He helped open the Paris Hotel & Casino before moving on to serve as the vice president of marketing for Stardust Hotel and Casino and then the same position at Stratosphere Hotel and Casino.
Richey obtained a degree in marketing from the University of Oklahoma before beginning his career in the casino industry in 1993 as a financial analyst for Harrah’s Laughlin.
