Primorye Casino is 90 Percent Complete

Primorye Casino is 90 Percent Complete

Primorye’s Deputy Prime Minister Konstantin Shetakov last week hailed the near completion of the NagaCorp casino, which will be the region’s third casino to open.

Primorsky Krai (Primorye) is the Russian Federation’s Far East Maritime Territory, whose largest city is Vladivostok. Russia’s gaming zone is located within Primorye. NagaCorp is a Hong Kong-based leisure and gaming company.

During the celebration Shetakov revealed the NagaCorp casino’s construction had to be delayed during the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic because Chinese contractors had been unable to travel to the province.

The situation is no normalizing, and construction work has returned to schedule, with the hotel, casino and banquet hall are 90 percent complete.

The deputy prime minister declared, “Even in this difficult time, companies are ready to continue investing in Primorye. The existing tourist facilities are developing, new investors from Korea are beginning the construction of a golf course, and negotiations are underway with potential investors on the construction of hotels with casinos. All of this contributes to the formation of a strong anchor for other tourist and entertainment facilities that will be associated with the Primorsky Territory. The creation of casino resorts is also an advantage in terms of organizing a system of package tours for our guests from the Asia-Pacific region.”
