Problem Gaming Council Picks Spokeswoman

Deanna Wilkins has been named communications manager for the National Council of Problem Gambling (NCPG.) She has five years’ experience in marketing and previously worked for a nonprofit environmental organization.

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), has named Deanna Wilken as its new communications manager. She will be in charge of the council’s external communications, public awareness and outreach.

Executive Director Keith Whyte praised Wilken. “We are very pleased to announce this new appointment with NCPG,” he said. “Deanna will bring new ideas and build on the Council’s existing structure to carry forward our communications work on all platforms. With her capabilities, I am confident we can target our communications efforts on increasing the depth and breadth of our work while continuing to engage our current members.”

Wilken, who has been in marketing for more than five years, worked as communications manager for a nonprofit environmental organization in Los Angeles. She also was a marketing strategist for Fox Home Entertainment for several years.
