PT’s Opens 53rd Gaming Tavern

PT’s Entertainment Group, Nevada’s largest operator of non-casino gaming venues, has gotten larger with the opening in Las Vegas of its newest PT’s Gold location (l.), its fifth to debut in Southern Nevada this year. The tavern is authorized to run up to 35 machine games and features indoor and outdoor seating and 24 big-screen HD TVs.

PT’s Entertainment Group, a division of Golden Entertainment, has solidified its status as the largest tavern gaming operator in Nevada with the opening of another location, its 53rd in the state.

The new PT’s Gold in northwest Las Vegas is the fifth opened by Golden Entertainment in Southern Nevada this year.

Housed in a bar formerly known as Beano’s, the 6,000-square-foot venue is authorized to operate up to 35 gaming devices, 20 more than the 15 machines allowed under the state’s conventional “restricted” licensing system for non-casino gaming operations.

Blake L. Sartini II, senior vice president of distributed gaming for Golden Entertainment, called it “an outstanding location with excellent access from U.S. 95”.

“Beano’s has always been a very popular tavern,” he said. “We always believed this location would be a great opportunity for our brand.”

The six-month process of renovating and rebranding the property was one of the most extensive for Golden Entertainment this year, the company said. The building was reconfigured to create an outdoor covered patio area with heating and air conditioning for year-round use.

The interior includes an elevated booth dining area and table-top seating with a separate 40-seat dining area that can be closed off for private functions. Extras include 24 55- and 65-inch HD televisions, two of them on the outdoor patio.
