Reno-based Raving Consulting has named Deana Scott, formerly a company partner in charge of executive leadership and marketing, as the company’s new CEO. Raving President and Chief Strategist Dennis Conrad announced the choice of Scott at last week’s Indian gaming National Marketing Conference.
In addition to the CEO post, Scott has been given the option, with husband Brady Scott, of purchasing Raving Consulting within one year. Conrad, who founded Raving in 1997, will remain active in the business, with select consulting work and in an advisory role.
“It is with great pleasure and excitement that I turn over the reins to one of the most talented gaming executives I know,” said Conrad of Scott. “There is no doubt that under Deana’s leadership, the Raving team will bring even more services to help our clients succeed. It’s pretty fantastic to build something such as Raving and know my vision, our vision, will continue in an even bigger way.”
Scott is a patented inventor and owner of TOD Gaming, with 22 years of gaming executive management experience. She has spent a majority of her career focused in tribal gaming. She has held strategic positions as a general manager and chief marketing officer, with hands-on experience in startup and expansion of business ventures.
“Having been a client and working partner with the Raving team over the past 15 years, I am honored to lead this organization that has created a foundation of customized, no-nonsense solutions that work,” said Scott. “I look forward to expanding our services and continuing to partner with our clients to tackle the variety of issues facing them today and tomorrow.”
