Spanish-based Red Rake Gaming has secured a remote gambling software license from the UK Gambling Commission and has already certified a group of games to introduce to the market.
The company is in the process of certifying a second group of games including various slots, video bingo and video poker titles, as well as blackjack games for online and mobile.
Red Rake already supplies games for UK-licensed operators in other regions and will now be able to offer its gaming content in the UK. Existing Red Rake clients that hold UK licenses include Betsson, BetConstruct, iSoftBet, Marathonbet, Pariplay and SBTech.
“Acquiring the license to operate in the UK market is a great step in our regulated strategy for 2019,” Red Rake managing director of Malta operations Nick Barr said in a press release. “It will have an immediate impact as many of our customers have UKGC licenses and they will be able now to offer our games to their UK player base.”
