Remote Gambling Association Announces Two Appointments

The Remote Gambling Association—the largest trade association for online gambling operators—has made two new appointments. The group has named a new director of regulatory affairs and a director of government relations.

The remote Gambling Association has announced two new appointments.

Paul Morris, former remote gambling exec at the UK Gambling Commission will become the association’s director of regulatory affairs and Pierre Tournier, will become the association’s director of government relations in August.

Paul led remote gambling policy and strategy at the UK Gambling Commission. He was also a member of the GREF Board and chaired its eGambling working group and was secretary to the IAGR eGambling working group.

Pierre is currently with Instinctif Partners, which he joined in 2010. He has acted as a consultant for the associations and has been leading its work in Brussels. Pierre has previously worked as a legal assistant at UCD in Dublin. Pierre holds a LLM in European Law from UCD and a BA in Law from the University of Toulouse.

“We are delighted that Paul and Pierre are joining the RGA,” said Clive Hawkswood, CEO of the association. “They are both very much known quantities and it would be hard to find anyone better qualified for these roles. They will be a huge asset for the industry.”
