Report: AsiaPac to Lead ETG Growth

The Asia Pacific region could see compound average growth in the electronic table games market of 6.8 percent through 2027, tops in the world, according to Reports & Data.

The global market topped $2.93 billion in worth in 2019 and could see a growth of 5.9 percent through 2027 to $4.59 billion.

The expected expansion in Asia owes to the rising per capita incomes and the need to cater to mass demand for gambling.

“The projected growth of the market is driven by the advancement of technology in casinos and bars and the transition of consumer preferences to more efficient and accurate systems of gaming,” the survey said.

Added to that is the demand for recreational activities in emerging economies.

LT Game has dominated Macau, but other suppliers have gained ground, with different types of games. New resorts elsewhere in Asia offer the possibility for strong gains.

The Covid-19 pandemic enhanced the market, LT Game said, with live multi-game terminals providing patrons a more spacious and safer environment.
