The newly renovated and refurbished Harrah’s Las Vegas opened to the public last week following a four-year, $200 million upgrade.
Harrah’s renovated the Valley Tower rooms in phases in 2016 and 2018, and completed the redesign of all 2,542 rooms and suites in 2020. Design work on the rooms was completed by Marnell Architecture. The suites now feature oversized tubs, separate living and dining spaces with wet bars and the option to connect to two bedrooms.
Harrah’s Las Vegas opened in 1973 as the Holiday Casino, and was rechristened in honor of Harrah’s founder Bill Harrah in 1992. Only six hotels on the Strip are older than Harrah’s.
According to Harrah’s, entertainer Donny Osmond will begin a multi-year residency at the property starting on August 31. It will be his first solo effort sans sister Marie.
