Rhode Island Casinos Reopen

Rhode Island’s two Twin River Casinos have reopened yet again (Twin River Lincoln at left), after being closed for three weeks by government order. The properties’ hotels and event centers remain closed.

The Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton, Rhode Island, have reopened after being closed for three weeks by Covid-19.

Most games are back online, including tables, slots, sports betting, stadium gaming and virtual table games. The racebook is open in Lincoln but closed in Tiverton. Lincoln’s poker room is closed.

The hotels and event centers are closed while eateries are open.

Vice President and General Manager of Twin River Casino & Hotel Craig Sculos commented, “A lot of folks in Rhode Island take the time off, it’s also vacation week. Now with the new norm, we don’t know what to expect, but we’re just pleased to be open.”

The three-week hiatus was used by employees the clean, sanitize and renovate, adding clear plastic shields between games Temperatures are scanned at the door and ID’s scanned to allow contact tracing.
