Rival Gaming Bails on UK

Rival Gaming has pulled out of the UK gambling market. The company has not said why it made the moves, but it is likely it made the move due to the UK’s new gambling regulations.

Online gambling provider Rival Gaming has pulled out of the UK market, sending a communications to players and affiliates that all UK action is blocked as of July 25.

The company has not given a reason for the exit, but since it operates in several parts of the world, analysts feel the UK’s new gambling regulations and licensing rules for software suppliers may be too difficult for the company to comply. UK licensing now involves several mandatory operational disclosures.

Several operators have pulled out of the UK since the new regulations went into effect and the UK gambling Commission says unlicensed online betting is declining.
