Rush Street Gaming announced that Joe Lodise, a longtime executive of Caesars Entertainment, has been named the new general manager of Rush Street’s Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, New York.
Lodise was formerly senior vice president and general manager of Caesars Atlantic City, where he oversaw a $200 million renovation of the hotel and gaming floor, as well as the launch of a new outdoor pool and restaurant.
He joined Caesars Entertainment in 2007 as operations manager at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City and was later promoted to vice president of finance. Lodise continued his stint at Caesars in Mississippi where he was senior vice president and general manager.
Before his start in the gaming industry, Lodise worked for the Vanguard Group for over a decade in financial services roles.
Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rush Street, gaming noted in a statement that Lodise’s gaming and hospitality experience “in highly competitive markets, along with his exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and support of community initiatives, makes him a perfect fit for Rivers Schenectady.”
Lodise will lead Rivers Casino and its affiliate, The Landing Hotel.
