Robins to Deliver Keynote at Indian iGaming Show

DraftKings CEO Jason Robins will deliver the luncheon keynote address at this year’s Indian Country Online Congress at Pala Casino.

DraftKings CEO Jason Robins will deliver the luncheon keynote address at the third annual Indian Country Online Congress on June 11 at California’s Pala Casino Spa Resort.

An avid sports fan, Robins started the company in 2011 with hopes of creating a forum that allowed the public more options when playing their fantasy sports games. DraftKings is one of the nation’s leading daily fantasy sports sites, offering daily games online and through its mobile app in fantasy baseball, football, basketball, hockey and golf.

“As new entertainment options become popular, it’s important for Indian Country to consider them as part of their opportunity for growth,” said Victor Rocha, owner and operator of Pechanga.net, co-producer of Indian Country Online Congress. “Daily fantasy sports represents one such opportunity, and we are thrilled to have Jason Robins participating at Indian Country Online to share his story.”

Changes in consumers’ online gaming activity and the prospects for legalized Internet gambling are among the featured topics at the Indian Country Online Congress, which includes six expert panel discussions:

• iPlayer: Who is the customer for casino, social and fantasy games on the internet, and how valuable will they be to your tribal property?

• iMobile: What trends are occurring in the way people access online wagering content, and how can tribal casinos integrate mobile into their gaming mix?

• iSkill/iSocial: How should skill and social games become an important part of the online engagement strategy?

• iFantasy: Do fantasy sports make sense for casinos, and what implications does this new online wagering industry have for Indian Country?

• iStrategy: How can Indian Country utilize the Internet for more than just gaming and to ideate a multi-channel engagement strategy?

• iPolitics: iGaming has generated much interest on both sides of the issue. What are the political realities and potential opportunities today?

Indian Country Online Congress attendees will include tribal gaming operators, suppliers, regulators, attorneys, analysts and gaming experts from around the world. The event is jointly produced by Pechanga.net and Spectrum Gaming Group.

Early-bird registration rates are available through May 15. Full agenda and conference details are available at indiancountryonline.com.
