The Isle of Man has a new head of e-gaming. Marc Robson will take the job after several year experience in the industry.
He takes on the job after working for a number of years within the IT and gaming industries in a variety of roles.
Peter Greenhill, CEO, e-Gaming, Department of Economic Development said:
‘With over a decade of experience working for and with some of the biggest and most recognizable companies in the industry, Mark will bring invaluable insight to the e-Gaming team,” said Peter Greenhill, CEO of the e-Gaming, Department of Economic Development. “His first-hand knowledge of what it takes to establish, grow and run successful gaming operations will no doubt reinforce the Isle of Man’s world class reputation as an e-Gaming center of excellence and help the continued growth in a sector which is currently around 13% of our economy.”
Robson started his career with Prima Poker where he was responsible for most operational aspects of their product. He later joined Microgaming to help launch their multi-player casino, before transferring full time into account management
In early 2013, he moved to Gibraltar to head the European Sales & Business Development team for SHFL Entertainment’s newly formed interactive division. Mid-way through 2014 he returned to the Isle of Man and set-up his own consultancy firm working on emerging markets with a number of key B2B and B2C gaming companies.
