Rubenstein Joins Mohegan From Sands China

Robert Rubenstein has joined the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority in Uncasville, Connecticut as vice president and general counsel, to direct all legal operations. Previously he was general counsel for Sands China Limited, where he helped develop several properties in Macau, Singapore and the U.S.

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, based in Uncasville, Connecticut, recently named Robert Rubenstein vice president and its general counsel, will direct all legal operations. Rubenstein formerly was general counsel for Las Vegas Sands Corporation’s Sands China Limited. During his tenure there, Rubenstein was responsible for all legal and compliance operations and was involved in the development of several properties in Macau, Singapore and the United States.

Rubenstein also served as associated general counsel for Fortune 500 auto manufacturer Oshkosh Corporation.

A spokesman for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority said, “MTGA is more than excited to welcome Rob and his impressive wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership acumen to the team.”
