The online casino and sports betting company Rush Street Interactive recently named Brian Sapp to the newly created position of chief marketing officer. Sapp brings 20 years of experience in data-driven marketing and live operations within the mobile industry to the job.
Previously, Sapp served on the executive team at Rec Room, overseeing media buying, product marketing, creative, social and first-party revenue, Before that, he was senior vice president of user acquisition and ads at Jam City, where he managed marketing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of casual and social mobile games. He also served as director of digital publishing at WB Games, where he managed user acquisition, analytics and monetization for the company’s mobile gaming portfolio. Sapp started his mobile industry career at Tapjoy, serving as director of developer partnerships.
As a member of Rush Street Interactive’s executive leadership team, Sapp will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Richard Schwartz.
