Rush Street Interactive, the parent of RushBet, extended a partnership with LaLiga, the Spanish soccer league to expand a collaboration with Colombia across South America.
As LaLiga kicks off its 2022/23 season, RSI has an exclusive league agreement over three seasons to provide RushBet with IP rights for both LaLiga Santander and Spanish soccer’s second tier, LaLiga Smartbank, according to SBCAmericas.
The rights cover usage of team names, shields, players’ images and competition logos. RushBet will receive jerseys and balls from LaLiga clubs and offer them to customers at sports bars and through giveaways.
“LaLiga is one of the most popular leagues across the globe, and we are thrilled to be able to bring our valued customers up close to this important league,” said Valentin Birnstein, general manager of RSI Colombia. “We are committed to providing RushBet players with top-tier content and high-quality entertainment and expanding our partnership with LaLiga helps to achieve those objectives.”
The alliance will ensure a co-branded presence on social media, including collaborations on each other’s accounts.
“This new expanded agreement will bring LaLiga even closer to our fans, sharing all the excitement and emotion that LaLiga has to offer,” said Oscar Mayo, executive director of LaLiga.
