Picture-in-picture slot system provider Leap Forward Gaming and Australian game and system supplier eBet Ltd. announced that eBet will distribute LFG’s SaffariNet Ecosystem in the Australian gaming market.
Under the agreement, eBet will handle sale, marketing and distribution in Australia of the SaffariNet system, which retrofits slot machines with picture-in-picture (PiP) technology. SaffariNet Ecosystem’s multimedia apps are enabled by LFG’s PiP technology, which works with all brands and generations of gaming machines and systems, allowing operators to communicate with patrons using web-based technology through a customizable PiP display.
The system includes thin client gaming (TCG), SmartFloor technology, social gaming, sports book, lottery, electronic fund transfer, progressives and many additional apps.
eBET operates over 55,000 gaming machines across 800 venues in the New South Wales, Queensland and Victorian systems market, with an expanding market share throughout Australia, New Zealand and across Asia. LFG’s initial targeted market for SaffariNet PiP technology in Australia is 30,000 machines.
“We are extremely excited about our partnership with Leap Forward,” said Tony Toohey, CEO and managing director of eBet. “We know and understand the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets, and LFG’s forward-thinking vision and technology make them an ideal partner to provide a rich pipeline of apps to enhance the player experience and provide excellent returns for operators.
“We have great expectations for SaffariNet’s technology and the solutions it provides our venues, and believe this agreement is the first step in eBET building a strong and mutually profitable partnership with LFG.”
“The Australian gaming market is a meaningful opportunity for LFG to grow our international presence,” commented Ali Saffari, Leap Forward CEO. “We are honored to have teamed up with such an astute gaming executive as Tony Toohey and the very successful eBET team as our latest SaffariNet Ecosystem distribution partner.
“This new distribution agreement will position Leap Forward into an extensive distribution network that provides integrated gaming solutions and allows us to potentially expand our footprint throughout Australia utilizing eBET’s aggressive go-to-market strategies and first-class customer service capabilities. We look forward to working with eBET to meet the growing demand for our best-of-breed solutions and gain momentum by utilizing their gaming market knowledge, system savvy and fast-growing footprint in Australia.”
