The Sahara Las Vegas has begun construction on its new restaurant row, which is part of its $150 million expansion and remodel. The four new eateries are scheduled to open in the summer.

They will include Chickie’s and Pete’s sports bar and crab house, which has been named best sports bar in North America by ESPN. It will eventually be the location of the casino’s William Hill sportsbook, which will temporarily relocate to the existing casino during construction. Another dining addition will be Chef Guoming “Sam” Xin’s Noodle Den, plus an Italian restaurant and a not yet announced new restaurant.

The expansion, which faces Las Vegas Boulevard, will include four new restaurants, while the existing dining footprint will be expanded to allow a larger outdoor space.

Anthony Olheiser, vice president of food and beverage, commented on what is to come: “By bringing in popular, yet new-to-market brands as well as developing concepts that are unique to Sahara, we are creating a culinary experience unlike any other in Las Vegas that will hold wide appeal for culinary connoisseurs and casual foodies alike.”
