Salat Leaves Scientific Games

Sebastian Salat, who was responsible for the explosive international growth of WMS Gaming, left the company that bought WMS, Scientific Games last week. His tenure was praised by Sci Games CEO Gavin Isaacs.

Scientific Games Corporation last week announced Sebastian Salat, president of WMS International, WMS Gaming, departed Scientific Games effective June 30, 2015. This move was mutually agreed by both parties.

Commenting on the decision Salat said, “I am extremely grateful for the privilege of having lead an incredible team of gaming professionals for so many years. Together we turned WMS into a world-class gaming organization, which grew much stronger after the merger with Scientific Games.”

Gavin Isaacs, president and chief executive officer of Scientific Games, said, “Over the last 15 years, as president of WMS International, Sebastian has contributed greatly to the growth of WMS’ international business throughout Europe, Latin America, Australasia and Africa.
