The San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has completed a $20-million renovation by development firm XLD Group.
Constructed by V Architecture, the hotel’s design was influenced by its location, while adding contemporary renovations to better guest experience, the company said in a press release.
According to the release, the property now has wood-looking tile floors for a more contemporary appearance, along with clean line furniture and walk-in shower, giving each of the 123 rooms and suites a more spacious feel.
Design accents include private balconies with seating, also giving guests views of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms also have IPTV and wireless charging lamps for smart devices, and work desks that were made more spacious for laptops.
The renovation also included Gingambo, the resort’s restaurant, Ocean Club Spa & Wellness Center, as well as La Panadería, the hotel’s coffee house, the release said.
