San Manuel Go Live With Free-Play Site

The San Manuel Indians, one of Southern California leading casino tribes, has taken its games online with an entertainment-only website developed by GAN. The “simulated gaming,” as it’s called, features slot machines and a variety of table games, including poker.

San Manuel Digital, the interactive arm of California tribal casino giant the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, has launched free-play gaming at its SanManuel.com site.

The tribe, which operates San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino outside Los Angeles, has contracted with B2B software developer GAN (formerly Game Account Network) to power the platform.

GAN terms the service “simulated gaming” and designed it specifically for land-based casinos looking to expand their reach into the online space with entertainment-only slot machines and table games, including poker. The service will also be integrated with the San Manuel’s land-based player loyalty program.

The platform successfully completed a test run last month, which San Manuel Digital said “proved the demand for simulated gaming in the Californian regional U.S. market”.
