Sands China Ltd. and the Bank of China Macau Branch have introduced the BOC Sands Lifestyle UnionPay credit card. The credit card, designed for use by Macau residents, will offer cardholders an array of benefits at Sands China’s integrated resorts, including special deals on hotel accommodations, dining, shopping, leisure and entertainment.

“We are honored to join hands with two prestigious financial institutions, BOC Macau and UnionPay, to launch the BOC Sands Lifestyle UnionPay credit card,” said Sands China President Dr. Wilfred Wong.

“Through this advantageous new card, we are pleased to provide the public with exclusive and more convenient high-end leisure and entertainment, as well as payment privileges, in support of the Macao SAR government’s ‘Consume for the Economy’ initiative—allowing local residents to take better advantage of the diversity of experiences available under one roof at our interconnected resorts.”

Sands China said the new credit card will be offered in two tiers, Diamond UnionPay and Black Diamond UnionPay, with the design of the card incorporating iconic elements of Sands resorts.

“This collaboration between Bank of China, Sands China Ltd. and UnionPay International Ltd. will promote diversified consumption and support the recovery and growth of the local economy during the pandemic,” said Chan Hio Peng, deputy general manager of the Bank of China Macau branch.

“It also facilitates Macau residents in the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. At BOC Macau, we are committed to forging successful partnerships with all sectors of the community and helping the Macao SAR integrate into the nation’s development plan.”
