Rob Goldstein is stepping down as chairman of Sands China’s Capital Expenditure Committee to focus on his work as chairman and CEO of parent Las Vegas Sands.
Succeeding him is Grant Chum, Sands China’s COO and an executive director of the Hong Kong-listed operator of LVS’ Macau resort portfolio.
The committee, whose members include Sands China President Wilfred Wong, oversees all non-budgeted capital expenditure projects with a value exceeding US$10 million.
It was also announced that independent director Chiang Yun will serve as chairwoman of the company’s newly created Environmental, Social and Governance Committee.
Goldstein, who remains chairman of the Nominations Committee, assumed the helm at Las Vegas-based LVS in January after the death of founder Sheldon Adelson.
