The Saskatchewan Gaming Corp. and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) reached an agreement on October 7 that includes a 4.5 percent salary increase for Casino Regina workers to be implemented over five years plus a 0.5 percent increase to the pension plan.

“We always want more, but we believe that we made significant improvements, and as I said, we presented it to the members as we promised them we would,” said Marianne Hladun, regional executive vice-president for PSAC Prairies.

The contract covers five years ending December 31, 2021, including two expired years. Workers will get zero per cent in 2017 and 2018, followed by hikes of one per cent, 1.5 percent and 2 percent.
