Scientific Games Corporation last week announced the extension of its relationship with Danish online casino and lottery operator Danske Spil through the launch of the company’s remote game server with the operator in the Denmark “dot country” regulated online wagering jurisdiction.
Danske Spil players in Denmark now have online access to the popular land-based slots and table games in the Scientific Games Interactive content library, which includes hit titles from the Bally, Barcrest, Shuffle Master and Williams game design studios.
Bob Hays, vice president commercial, interactive at Scientific Games, said, “We are excited to enter the Danish online wagering jurisdiction and to provide Danske Spil players with access to our deep library of proven slots and table games. The interest in our content from another regulated online gaming market is a testament to the broad player appeal of our proprietary slots and table game themes.”
Søren Schneider, head of casino, poker and games for Danske Spil, said, “We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Scientific Games by extending our casino offering and strengthening our position as marked leader in a very competitive Danish market. The wide array of player-popular casino games to which we have access through their game server heightens the entertainment we’re able to offer our players at home and on-the-go.”
The launch in Denmark is another milestone for the Scientific Games Interactive remote game server. The company already provides its broad content library in multiple regulated online wagering jurisdictions around the world, including New Jersey, Europe, Delaware and various Canadian provinces including British Colombia and Ontario.
The Scientific Games Interactive content is delivered through the Bwin.Party platform.
