Scientific Games Wins PA Truck Stop Route Contract

Scientific Games has reached an agreement to install Bally MultiConnect software at 20 licensed truck stop locations throughout Pennsylvania.

Scientific Games Corporation announced an agreement with Second State Gaming, LLC to install Bally MultiConnect (BMC) software at 20 truck stop locations throughout Pennsylvania.

The new system will begin going live in spring 2019, and will continue to be installed on 100 games at 20 locations based on gaming license approvals. Pennsylvania recently signed legislation allowing a major expansion of gambling throughout the state, to include truck stops and airports.

Bally MultiConnect provides video lottery terminal (VLT) management reporting tools for multi-site gaming operations. It also consolidates data from any number of gaming locations into one reporting system with the click of a button. BMC allows operators to assess gaming operations at any level within the organization, and benefit from the convenience of one permanently unified set of accounting reports.

“We were thoroughly impressed by Scientific Games’ existing presence in the state of Pennsylvania and their commitment to their systems customers,” said Jennifer Caruso, vice president of operations at Second State Gaming LLC. “We are excited to see how the BMC product will give us a competitive advantage in the new Pennsylvania truck stop VLT market.”

The agreement with Second State Gaming, LLC is the first systems contract awarded and the first deployment of BMC in this new truck stop route market.

“We are proud of our longstanding gaming partnerships in the state of Pennsylvania, and we are very excited to be the first to enter this new market with our systems offering,” said Bob Parente, senior vice president and chief revenue officer of Scientific Games. “As the leader in gaming systems and route operations throughout North America, Scientific Games is best poised to support this emerging market, as well as other jurisdictions, with products that will enhance the bottom line. We look forward to working with Second State Gaming to effectively manage their gaming route operations.”
