Sega Sammy Joins GSA

Japan’s Sega Sammy Creation, a manufacturer of lot and pachinko machines, has joined the Gaming Standards Association as a Platinum member.

The Gaming Standards Association announced that it has added Japanese pachinko and slot manufacturer Sega Sammy Creation as a Platinum member.

“Sega Sammy Creation’s entertainment products encompass many aspects of the gaming industry, and, along with GSA’s other international members, the company will play a key role in creating and maintaining the standards that drive the gaming industry,” said GSA in a statement.

“We are extremely pleased to join the Gaming Standards Association, said Hisao Oguchi, CEO of Sega Sammy Creation. “We have unique insight and experience from our time developing entertainment that we believe can be of great value to the evolution of standards in the gaming industry. Sega Sammy Creation is the gaming machine manufacturing arm of Sega Sammy Group, a comprehensive entertainment entity that produces games for pachislot and pachinko as well as casinos.
