Seminole Hard Rock Names Turrano

Vincent Turrano has been named vice president of food and beverage at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in Florida. A 31-year casino management veteran, Turrano previously was director of food and beverage at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City where he supervised a staff of 100.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa recently named Vincent Turrano, a 31-year veteran of casino food and beverage management, as vice president of food & beverage.

Previously Turrano worked at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City for 11 years, with eight years as director of food & beverage and three years as a general manager. He led a staff of 100 team members who provided customer service and hospitality in nine casual dining restaurants, five fine dining restaurants, two in-room dining restaurants, two banquet outlets, beverage service for casino gaming, two premium player lounges, six beverage lounges and two premium nightlife venues.

In addition, Turrano has developed and opened numerous celebrity chef/partner restaurants, including establishments operated by Wolfgang Puck, Bobby Flay, Geoffrey Zakarian and Michael Schulson while at Borgata.

Turrano graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1982 and began his career at Borgata as its general manager of Old Homestead Steak House. He also worked at Bally’s Hotel & Casino, Tropicana Hotel & Casino and Resorts International Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
