Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Holds Job Fair

To fill 1,200 new positions made possible by its $700 million expansion project, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa will hold a job fair June 4-5. Full, part-time and on-call employees will be needed in a wide range categories, officials said. The expansion includes a new 15-story 564-room hotel tower, expanded gaming floor, meeting space, pools and a spa.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will hold a job fair June 4-5 to hire up to 1,200 new full-time, part-time and on-call team members to staff its recent $700 million expansion. Positions to be filled include culinary and restaurant staff, security personnel, custodians, casino staff, hotel housekeepers, cashiers, cocktail servers and many more.

The project, which began last spring, includes a 15-story hotel tower with an additional 564 hotel rooms and suites, bringing the total to 800 rooms and 88 suites. The expansion also will include a larger gaming floor, with 5,000 slot machines and 200 gaming tables, plus VIP gaming areas on the top floor of the new tower. A new 25,000 square foot spa, 30,000 square foot event center with a 17,000 square foot ballroom, three outdoor pools and a 120-seat pool grill also will be offered.

Besides attending the job fairs, applicants also may submit applications online or by text CASINO to 97211. More job fairs will be held in the coming months officials said.

Across the state, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino announced its long-awaited guitar-shaped hotel will officially open in October. Among its amenities will be an expanded casino with 3,000 new slots, 193 table games and a poker room with 46 tables, plus 30 new restaurants, lounges and bars. A 10-acre lagoon pool will offer private cabanas, a day club and water activities like paddle boarding and a new Hard Rock Live concert venue will present acclaimed musical acts.
