Mark Sergeant has been named managing director of home markets at Genting UK. In his new position, Sergeant will supervise the company’s UK casinos as well as its online gambling division, Genting Alderney.
Sergeant’s gaming career began at Gala Coral where he served as commercial director of Gala Gaming Division, and later was named group gaming director. In November 2009, he was appointed acting managing director at Gala Gaming Division, and was named managing director at Gala Casinos in May 2010.
Genting UK President Paul Willock stated under Sergeant’s leadership the company now will focus on its new growth strategy, developing “compelling multichannel experience” across its land-based venues plus online and mobile platforms.
