Scientific Games Corporation’s SG Gaming division announced a major new four-year agreement to provide server-based terminals to Talarius adult gaming centers in the U.K.
Under the agreement, SG Gaming provide its fully integrated server-based gaming platform across an additional 92 Talarius adult gaming centers (AGC), taking the total number of SG Gaming’s server-based terminals to around 500 across the Talarius estate. The rollout will begin this month, delivering a range of Clarity and T8 terminals to all sites.
The agreement was reached following the completion of a successful trial across a number of sites in the Talarius estate. With SG Gaming terminals already installed in Talarius venues across the U.K., the rollout represents the conversion of these terminals to the server-based gaming platform, along with the installation of arcade customized Clarity terminals and the additional purchase of T8 terminals.
The T8 and Clarity terminals will be fully networked on the server-based gaming platform and will benefit from multi-content menus, sophisticated promotional mechanics and operational efficiencies, including ticket-in/ticket-out. SG Gaming will also install its ticket redemption stations (TRS) in each site, which will provide Talarius with a fully integrated system that manages the entire operational process.
Talarius customers will enjoy access to the company’s B3 content library, featuring popular titles from Barcrest, WMS and Bally, including the latest Rainbow Riches title, Rainbow Riches Pick ‘N’ Mix, and key licensed titles including Monopoly Big Event and Rocky: The Italian Stallion.
“The deal is testament to the strength and success of the relationship SG Gaming has with Talarius,” said Phil Horne, managing director for the U.K. at SG Gaming. “We’ve worked side by side for a number of years, and we now look forward to supporting Talarius with a server-based gaming platform and a comprehensive rollout and training plan.
“This deal is the result of a significant strengthening of SG Gaming’s position in the AGC sector. Operators are clearly keen to move forward with our server-based gaming solution backed by SG Gaming’s infrastructure and support.”
“Andy Whitworth, head of gaming strategy at Talarius, added, “We are delighted to enter this new agreement with SG Gaming. Ensuring that customers enjoy our facilities by providing them with the greatest choice of machines and games possible is our No. 1 priority, and SG Gaming provides a quality range of content, terminal promotions and yield support.
“We also chose SG Gaming for its operational infrastructure, and the comprehensive installation and service support provided by its field-based services division. Taking the leap towards server-based technology will be transformational for our business.”
