Shank Marketing, an agency based in Washington state, has announced a new partnership with Kickapoo Casinos at their Harrah and Shawnee properties.
The partnership will be focused on social media and other modern forms of marketing, as Kickapoo looks to stay abreast of an evolving media landscape. According to general manager Ryan Stewart, Kickapoo has not previously focused on those fields, but he noted that “it’s time to begin that process.”
Stewart also mentioned that they wanted to partner with Shank Marketing because of their track record of success with other commercial and tribal casinos around the country, even going so far as to call Shank the best marketing service in the casino industry.
The two properties included in the partnership operate about 1,200 machines between them, and Shank will work with existing in-house marketing and business development staff to implement new social media and integrated marketing strategies.
For Shank, the Kickapoo properties will be the agency’s first foray into the southern gaming industry, as most of their previous casino clients were located along the west coast. President Justin Shank said that the agency was looking forward to helping Kickapoo by growing their digital presence and increasing their brand awareness.
