Australia-listed Silver Heritage has tapped Pan Asia Leaders to manage electronic gaming machines at Dansavanh Nam Ngum Resort and Casino in Laos, reports the Asia Gaming Brief.
Under the agreement, Silver Heritage agreed to provide electronic gaming machines and services to the resort under a revenue-sharing plan. Pan Asia Leaders agreed to assume those accords for $500,000 and pay a fixed monthly amount to lease certain EGMs.
Silver Heritage said the deal will optimize its current agreements at the resort and help it to reduce overhead and variable costs at its Laos-based operations. The company said the plan is part of its strategy to focus resources on the Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa development as well as its casino operations in Nepal and Vietnam.
Tiger Palace, the first casino resort to be developed along the India-Nepal border, is scheduled to open in early 2017. It will feature a 2,471-square-meter (26,600-square-foot) casino floor along with entertainment, dining and conference options.
