Silver Heritage to Open Casino at Tiger Palace

With its hotel in receipt of a five-star rating by the government of Nepal, Silver Heritage Group Ltd. says it may now proceed with plans to open a casino at Tiger Palace (l.) in Bhairahawa, near the capital of Kathmandu.

Silver Heritage Group Ltd. will soon launch casino operations at Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa in Nepal. According to Inside Asian Gaming, the company cleared the way for the development after its hotel was awarded a five-star hotel rating by the country’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Under Nepal law, Silver Heritage has the right to operate casinos in other five-star hotels in the country.

Silver Heritage will submit an application requesting that its licensed casino management company, SHL Management Services Private Ltd. get the OK to operate the casino. SHMK now runs the Millionaire’s Club casino at the Shangri-La Hotel in nearby Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
