The Silverton Casino Hotel in Las Vegas has opened Nevada’s first “Lightning Link Lounge,” a space on the casino floor dedicated exclusively to Aristocrat’s Lightning Link video slot, which the supplier says is the word’s most popular video slot game.
Silverton’s Lightning Link Lounge houses 36 games, conveniently located in the former Slot Tournament Room. Casino officials say it was created to respond to customer demand.
“Our players have loved Lightning Link from the minute the first game arrived on property,” said Bryan Binek, executive director of gaming and operations at the Silverton. “Ever since, we have had more and more demand for the game, and it grew to the point where it made sense to dedicate a space to this incredibly electrifying game.”
Silverton’s Lightning Link Lounge grand opening on February 14 offered free slot play to the first 200 guests, along with complimentary gifts and champagne.
“Players everywhere love Lightning Link,” said Jon Hanlin, vice president of commercial strategy, gaming operations for Aristocrat. “A Lightning Link Lounge is particularly fun because, with a game designed to build excitement, when several banks are centralized in a dedicated area, the levels of fun increase.”
Lightning Link is a set of linked games with progressives that have proven to be a hit with players in Australia, North America and Europe. In the latest Eilers-Fantini Quarterly US Slot Survey, slot directors from across North America ranked Lightning Link as the No. 1 premium leased game in the market.
Lightning Link is unique in the marketplace with player-selectable multi-denominations, a multi-format jackpot offering that combines both link and SAP jackpots, an extensive mix of games that appeal to a wide range of players, and a patented new jackpot mechanic for innovative game play and trigger methodology.
