Singapore Casinos Double Table Capacity

Singapore’s two casinos, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, can now allow four players at each gaming table under new Covid-19 rules—double the two-player cap established during a Covid-19 surge in May.

According to Inside Asian Gaming based on information from the Singapore Tourism Board, Covid-19 restrictions loosened up on June 14 and also included the reopening of electronic gaming machines and slot machines.

Patrons must maintain at least one meter (3.2 feet) of social distance and wear face masks except when eating, drinking or smoking.

“Strict checks are conducted by the Singapore Tourism Board to ensure that casinos provide a safe environment for their guests and staff, in line with prevailing safe management measures,” the STB informed IAG.

On June 21, restaurants were allowed to welcome back dine-in guests, but only two at a time. Restrictions are expected to be relaxed even more in mid-July.
