The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Sioux City recently earned AAA’s Four Diamond rating, making it the fourth hotel in Iowa to earn the distinguished award, which considers 27 criteria including overall amenities, staff service and facilities. The rating is the result of an unannounced evaluation from AAA last year.
AAA described the Hard Rock Hotel as “refined, stylish with upscale physical attributes.” AAA Field Manager Nikki Kachelmeir said, “Being able to talk to our AAA members, to have that 100 percent confidence that this is a Four Diamond-rated hotel, it’s great. Because we know they’re going to come here and get great service.”
Hard Rock General Manager Todd Moyer said the honor was made possible through the hard work and presence of team members. “People feel welcomed, they make others feel welcome. It’s about showing people a great experience. Memorable experiences, that’s our mission statement and we do it here every day,” he said.
The Hard Rock Hotel is one of just seven Four Diamond-rated hotels in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
