The Grand Lisboa Palace resort complex in Macau will open a new luxury hotel soon. The Palazzo Versace Macau is likely to have a “soft opening around the end of April,” according to Daisy Ho, chairwoman of the Macau casino operator SJM Holdings Ltd.
“This is a tentative schedule,” said Ho, with a grand opening to follow later in the year.
According to GGRAsia, SJM plans to open all the remaining hotel rooms at the Grand Lisboa Palace and also add more gaming tables in the second quarter of the year. Right now, only 30 percent of the resort’s 1,900 rooms are available for guests, inside the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau hotel and the Karl Lagerfeld.
