Sky Betting and Gaming has continued its European expansion by launching Sky Bet Deutschland in Germany.
The site is the second European venture for the company outside of its base in the UK. The company launched an Italian site last year.
“At Sky Bet we want to add to the enjoyment of sport,” said Jochen Weiner, managing director of skybet.de in a press release. “We have launched a great product with a wide range of offers in a variety of sports. I’m sure our customers will love it. “
Sky Bet Deutschland offers consumers betting options on over 45 sports, with 2,000 bet types also available spread across 20,000 live events per month, the release said.
The company said sports betting is a growing market in Germany, and it expects “steady growth in the future.”
“Germany is a great opportunity for us. The market is growing year by year and there are plenty of passionate sports fans who we believe will enjoy our product,” said Richard Flint, CEO of Sky Betting & Gaming in the release.
