South Australia has loosened Covid-19 restrictions, such as letting 1,000 people in a casino at one time rather than 100, a boon to SkyCity Adelaide. The casino will still be subject to social distancing and various other hygiene protocols.

At the same time, the company opened its new 120 room luxury hotel Eos by SkyCity on December 1. In addition, new gaming areas for Premier Reward’s members will open to the wider public, according to Asia Gaming Brief.

The A$330 million expansion (US$244 million) of the South Australia resort that includes four new restaurants, including the rooftop Sol Bar and Restaurant, as well as a new Italian restaurant adjoining the Festival Plaza, new meetings and exhibitions space and an expanded gaming floor with new VIP rooms. SkyCity also operates four casinos in its home nation of New Zealand.

And to top it all off, on December 3, SkyCity will unveil “The District at SkyCity,” a new entertainment review with a variety of offerings.
