SkyCity announced the launch of the baccarat side bet Lucky 6, which will be introduced across its properties in New Zealand.
The new side bet, which marks its debut in New Zealand, is now available in the VIP areas and the Baccarat Room at SkyCity Auckland, and will be coming to SkyCity Hamilton and SkyCity Queenstown in the coming weeks.
Lucky 6 is popular among casinos in Asia, including Singapore. Last year, the Lucky 6 was approved by Macau regulators to be installed at its local casinos. It has gained popularity due to the variety and odds it offers when playing Baccarat.
To win Lucky 6’s optional side bet, the banker must win with a total of six points on either two or three cards. If the Banker wins with two cards totaling six points the payout is 12 to 1, or if the banker wins with three cards totaling six points the payout is 20 to 1.
To celebrate the launch, SkyCity has transformed the VIP areas and Baccarat Room at SkyCity Auckland with a Lucky 6 theme.
