Some Argentine Casinos Reopening

Casinos in the Argentine province of Misiones are reopening after the Provincial Institute of Lotteries and Casinos (IPLyC) of Misiones ordered the operation ban lifted as of September 14.

It’s up to each municipality in the province to decide such things as days and hours that casinos operate. For example, in the capital city of Posadas, rooms may only be 50 percent occupied.

The casinos will only be allowed to offer slots (no tables, including cards and roulette), and health safety protocols will be enforced.

Casino restaurants are not allowed to have more than five person per table.

Face masks for all are required as well as social distancing as required by the Ministries of Health, Government and Labor. “Correct ventilation” is required and furniture not related to gaming must be removed. Sanitary stations are required and tables and machines must be disinfected regularly.
