The South Carolina state Democratic Party will ask state residents their views on online gambling and its potential to raise tax revenue on primary ballots, according to reports.
The referendum would be presented on June ballots and will ask whether ta $20 billion road and bridge plan could be at least partly funded by legalization of online gambling and the expansion of other gambling projects, such as allowing casinos in Myrtle Beach.
According to reports, the question would also ask voters whether individual states of the federal government should decide whether to allow online gambling.
