Spain’s “civic ombudsman, Francisco Fernández Marugán, has asked the Spanish government to approve a ban on all ads for gambling products and services across media channels including TV, radio and internet.
Marugán suggests that operators who violate the ban could see their licenses cancelled, and said gambling is “a public health issue that requires a regulatory framework with imperative legal norms.”
