Sportech Racing and Digital, a division of pools and sports wagering operator Sportech, has signed deals to provide parimutuel vetting technology and services to Emerald Downs Racing in Washington state and Eldorado Resorts in Ohio and West Virginia.
Emerald Downs will benefit from upgraded field board and paddock display equipment, in addition to an update of its entire betting terminal inventory to Sportech’s BetJet Series devices.
Meanwhile, Eldorado’s Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort in West Virginia and Scioto Downs Racino in Ohio will also receive upgrades to BetJet Series devices.
Eldorado’s Presque Isle Downs near Erie, Pennsylvania already has such devices installed, and will not require an upgrade.
In addition, all three Eldorado facilities will receive Sportech’s Digital Link suite for mobile betting on track, including the Sportech digital voucher functionality.
