The Santa Ana California-based gaming firm of Eilers & Krejcik Gaming has expanded its reach into the sports wagering area by the hire of Chris Krafcik as managing director for political and regulatory affairs.
His expertise will enable the research firm to provide market research in the sports betting field. Krafcik will also author the company’s U.S. Sports Betting Monitor, who provides information and insights on the burgeoning industry.
Krafcik was previously U.S. research director for GamblingCompliance. His expertise is in iGaming, daily fantasy sports and sports betting. He writes regular syndicated research reports on policy and regulatory development in i-gaming and sports betting and occasionally provides expert testimony to state lawmakers.
The company’s principal, Todd Eilers, commented on the new hire: “Chris brings a rare level of expertise and a unique perspective to Eilers & Krejcik that will help the firm continue to position itself as a leader in sports betting research.” He added, “His knowledge of iGaming and sports betting, which is particularly important as sports betting expands across the country, will augment Eilers & Krejcik’s already detailed analysis and research that our clients have come to rely on.”
