Sports Betting Ops Quit Kenya

Two sports betting operators, SportPesa and Betin, have announced they will cease operations in Kenya due to the country’s decision to hike taxes on betting wins by 20 percent. SportPesa warned the market will face “severe consequences” and a big drop in revenues.
